LOWER SECONDARY SCHOOL PACK ON THE COASTLINE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE FRENCH COASTAL PROTECTION AGENCY
The educational lower secondary school pack is available free of charge and upon request, in hard copy, for the teachers of the 7,200 lower secondary schools of Mainland and Overseas France. Developed in cooperation with the French Ministry of National Education and in partnership with the French Coastal Protection Agency and the CNRS (French national scientific research centre), its educational content focuses on the coastline.
The lower secondary school pack features: 10 educational cards explaining the environmental challenges facing our planet, at sea and on land. A source of raw materials, providers of resources to develop renewable energy, the cradle of multiple technological innovations and medicinal products... The oceans are the breeding ground for extraordinary solutions to help humanity face the present and look to the future.
Secondary school pupils will also discover the French coastline, this rich multi-faceted heritage: from the coasts of mainland France to those of Overseas regions, discover the wonders and hidden gems of our beautiful coastline!
The teacher's book, offered in addition to the educational cards, features instructions allowing teachers to make full use of the 10 thematic data sheets as part of the curriculum of the French education system, and translate their knowledge into action by taking part in the participatory challenge for lower secondary schools.
